Hi everyone - my name is Julie and I was adopted from Hunan, China when I was 10 months old. I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my partner and our cat, Milk! I currently work in the environmental consulting industry. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, trying new foods, hiking, and learning how to be a better intersectional environmentalist. 

I envision CCI as a community for Chinese adoptees to explore our identities. As a new Board Member, I am excited to learn about the organization's past and present, and help shape its future! Please reach out to me if you want to explore any of the abovementioned (or more)!
