What is the CCI mailing list?
The CCI Mailing list is an email list-serve run through CCI’s official email, email@example.com. A list-serve is a group of emails that are sent regular updates from an organization.
What will CCI send through the mailing list?
CCI will send a quarterly newsletter and bi-annual E-magazine through the emailing list. The CCI Newsletter is a new feature which will keep members in the loop on CCI and other adoption community related events through email. The CCI E-magazine is our virtual collection of adoptee written and artistic works.
Can I unsubscribe (remove my email) from the mailing list? How?
Yes, you may unsubscribe from the CCI mailing list at any time in two methods. First, emailing CCI at firstname.lastname@example.org and letting us know that you would like to unsubscribe. We will take you off the mailing list effective immediately. Secondly, you may also simply click the button at the bottom of the email that says “Unsubscribe from mailing list.”
Will my email be shared with others?
No, your email will be kept confidential. None of the others on the listing will have access to your email. The only people who will have access is the CCI Board. CCI will not share, sell, distribute, or otherwise give out your email address to any other third parties without your express written permission. Additionally, CCI will not send you emails for any other purpose than those outlined above without your express written permission.
